Secret Islands

Secret Island is a pretty little island for sale. At 2.5 acres, it is ideal for a personal estate. The island is located on the southwestern side of the Cat Cayes range, just a quarter mile north of Alarm Caye. It's less than 7 miles east of Riversdale. Like all the Cat Cayes area, the water is beautifully clear with fantastic snorkeling from virtually every point on the island. The island has has been cleared of smaller trees through most of the center with the thick mangroves left around the edges. This was done a few years ago so new growth is starting to retake the island. Secret Island is almost perfectly round in shape with a little cove that is ideal for landing the boat. The water surrounding the island is fairly shallow, but has a steep drop off about 100 feet from shore. Although this island is almost completely dry, it would benefit from filling in the cleared areas. To fill this island completely would cost roughly $70-80K US. Officially the island is surveyed at 1.03 aces but the lines were drawn well within the waterline of the island. The actual size of this island was measured by walking around the perimeter of the island with a handheld gps unit.
